Ashley Furniture coming to San Carlos Park

Southwest Florida’s first City Furniture and Ashley Furniture Showroom are coming to Alico Road in fall 2008.
City Furniture will also open showrooms in Naples at the same time.
The San Carlos Park location will be on six acres at Alico Lakes Village, which was attractive because of it’s visibility from I-75.
The store will dedicate 75,000 square feet to City Furniture and 40,000 to Ashley Furniture, a national chain based in Wisconsin that Fort Lauderdale-based City Furniture licenses.
The company is south Florida’s largest furniture store, said president Keith Koenig, with about $342 million in revenue in 2006.
The stores will stand side-by-side with different entrances and a pass-through in the store.
It will also feature an arcade for kids and a cafe with free cookies, iced tea and a full espresso bar.
